How I Made Them

Last year, I set out to create 5 hand-drawn coloring pages all about the events leading up to Jesus’ resurrection (often called Holy Week). My goal was to create images that were cute, straightforward, and not too complicated for little minds.

Along with each drawing, I included a title for the event, the scripture reference, and a short description that is easy to understand. This makes them simple to organize, and each of them can even be used separately on their own.

Who Can Use Them?

Anybody! While my main target audience was parents and teachers to use with their children, these are actually perfect for anybody of any age to learn more about the gospel.

Where Is Jesus?

You may be wondering, why isn’t Jesus in any of the illustrations?

I’ll be honest: I debated whether I should draw him or not. It may seem silly to some, but to others this can be a very controversial topic.

There are lots of debates over whether it’s considered idolatry or blasphemy to depict Jesus in art form. Plus there are plenty of commentators out there who argue over how Jesus may have looked lol. In light of this, I decided not to draw him at all.

I felt it was still possible to point every single illustration to Jesus without having to draw him in the pictures. The descriptions on each coloring page help with this as well!

How To Download

Are you ready to get these coloring pages for yourself? Follow the instructions below!

1. Head over to the listing on The Cozy Tree Shop on Etsy.
2. Purchase the digital product.
3. Once your purchase has cleared, you will be able to download the PDF.
   • If you purchased the PDF using your Etsy account, it will be found in the “Purchases” tab on the desktop version of the site. It may not appear on the mobile version! Etsy has yet to fix this.
   • If you purchased the PDF using a guest account, it will be found in your receipt email.
   • There will be a “download files” button you can click to open the PDF.
4. Save the PDF to your device and print as needed!

You are welcome to use these coloring pages as much as you need, so long as it’s for personal use. You may not reproduce these coloring pages for profit in any way.
